There are so many research databases to choose from. How do I know which ones are best for my topic?

We know the Library's database list can be overwhelming, so we have subject and resource type filters that organize the databases into categories. When you're trying to decide which database to use, think about what subject your research topic falls under, and what types of resources you need to find. Our librarians have also put together a page on developing and analyzing your topic, which can help you while trying to decide where to search.

If you're still not sure where to search, you can also chat with a librarian! We offer one-on-one research consultations, as well as help via online chat and email. If you're on campus, you can also stop by the library and speak with one of our librarians in person during the day.
